Welcome. I'm glad you're here.
My name is TJ Remaley [he/him], and I'm a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA), currently serving in the incredible city of Boise, Idaho. This site has been through a ridiculous number of iterations over the years. That's only mild hyperbole: it first launched in 1997, when I was in 5th grade! Early sermon uploads, scattered book reviews, bursts of blogging energy followed by long pauses. It's all part of the journey.
These days, this space serves as a home for occasional reflections--on faith, identity, grief, joy, justice, and the sacredness of ordinary life. Sometimes, I write from the pulpit. Sometimes I write from the gut. Either way, what you'll find here are musings, prayers, and maybe the occasional sermon that I couldn't quite let go of after preaching it.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here that speaks to your spirit, or at least makes you feel less alone.
God's Peace
TJ
